Position:

Speech Language Pathologist with a TSPC Communications Disorder endorsement or Oregon Board of Examiners Speech Language Pathologist Licensure (1.0 FTE)

 

Will also consider a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) applicant (1.0 FTE)*

 

Position Description and Requirements:    

The teacher is responsible for speech therapy to students in grades K-12 with IEPs.  The individual must have the knowledge and ability to comply with IDEA requirements for IEPs and procedural safeguards.

 

Qualifications Required:

  1. Valid Oregon Teaching License with proper endorsements(s) or Oregon Board of Examiners SLP Licensure
  2. Knowledge and skills in instruction/learning methods
  3. Ability to demonstrate positive classroom management skills

 

Compensation:         

Salary will be paid according to degree and years of experience for 174 contract days.  The District allows up to ten years of experience in the field of public education.  The 2024-25 salary schedule range is:     

          

Minimum:        Bachelor’s degree with no experience - $45,871 (Step 3) 

Maximum:       Master’s degree plus 45 hours with 15 years experience - $69,419 (Step 10)

*Dependent upon experience

 

Starting Date:

Immediately
