Title:          Full-Time Certified Substitute 

 

Location:   Oakridge Junior/Senior High School - Oakridge Elementary School

The Oakridge School District is seeking an energetic, positive, and resourceful full-time certified substitute teacher to join Oakridge School District at Oakridge Junior Senior High School and Oakridge Elementary School. 

 

JOB SUMMARY:

In the absence of the regular classroom teacher to implement the daily instructional plans of the teacher and to provide meaningful instruction to the students of the assigned classroom.  To maintain a class enviroment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with students while maintaing proper classroom management.  To work effectively with the building administrator and other teachers to minimize any potential transition problems from the teacher to the substitute teacher. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meets the standards of Competent and Ethical Performance as outlined in Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 584-020-000 to 584-020-045). The list of position responsibilities are not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.  Depending upon individual assignment, the employee may perform all or a combination of the following duties:

Compensation:  $238.41 per day - $280.49 per day
